World Oceans Day Beach Trip

WHEN: Saturday, June 8th, 8:30am

WHERE: Meet at Providore (24th & Sandy, PDX), drive to Netarts Bay on the Oregon Coast

WHO: Flying Fish Company, Shuck Portland, Wetlands Conservancy, and Friends of Netarts Bay

WHAT: Join this all-star cast for a jam packed, one-of-a-kind, full day excursion featuring coastal tide pool exploration, epic views of pristine Netarts Bay, community beach clean up, oyster farm tour, behind-the-scenes Jacobsen Saltworks tour, and two optional choices: oyster hatchery tour (separate sign up), and an Instagram-worthy, ocean-to-table lunch provided by our Flying Fish Co. chefs and local beer & wine to wash it down. $40 round trip transport from the shop, sign up HERE.

WHO: You and us and Professor Kevin Trinh of Hook and Line Sushi

WHAT: Fresh ingredients - sushi rice & vinegar, nori rolls, and of course, the best fish in Portland -- with a couple saké drinks included for good measure. Lyf from Flying Fish and Kevin from Hook and Line Sushi will cheer you on and you'll walk away with sushi know-how and a full belly. $65 per person - you eat what you roll!


Knife Skills & Fish Filleting Class
